Yiwu Futian Market (Yiwu International Trade Mart, Yiwu International Trade City) is the main and biggest market in Yiwu. It currently covers an area of 4 million square meters, with 62,000 booths inside. 100,000 suppliers exhibit 400,000 kinds of products almost every day from 9 am to 5 pm (except during the holidays of Chinese Spring Festival). The products come from around 40 industries and include 2,000 different categories of goods. 65% of these products are exported to over 215 countries and regions. Yiwu Futian Market is more like a permanent fair, rather than a traditional wholesale market. It has developed into an information, innovation, exhibition and distribution center for consumer goods.

 

 

 

Yiwu Futian Market-District 1 (Area A,B,C,D,E)

 

 

Initial construction of the first complex of the Yiwu Futian Market began in 2001 and was opened on 22 October 2002. District 1 covers an area of 340,000 m2 (3,700,000 sq ft) hosting 9000 booths and over 10500 businesses. The complex cost 700 million CNY to construct. On average, 40,000 people visit the complex every day, 5000 of whom are foreign visitors. District one is combined by Area A, Area B, Area C, Area D and Area E, and have four floors:

 

 

1st Floor: Artificial flower is in Area A and B; Artificial flower accessories is in Area B; Plush toy and Inflatable toy are in Area C; Electronic toy is in Area C and D; Ordinary toy is in Area D and E.

 

 

2nd Floor: Hair Accessories is in Area A, B and C; Jewelry is in Area C, D and E.

 

 

3rd Floor: Wedding Arts & Crafts is in Area A; Decoration Arts & Crafts is in Area A, B and D; Porcelain& Crystal is in Area D; Travel Arts & Crafts is in Area D; Photo Frame is in Area D and E; Jewelry Accessories is in Area E.

 

 

4th Floor: Artificial Flower is in Area A; Jewelry is in Area A, B, C, D and E; Arts & Crafts is in Area B, C, D and E.

 

 

 

Yiwu Futian Market-District 2 (Area F & G)

 

 

District 2 opened on 22 October 2004, providing over 600,000 m2 (6,500,000 sq ft) of floor space for over 8000 booths and 10,000 businesses. District two is combined by Area F and Area G, and have five floors:

 

 

1st Floor: Rain Coat and Umbrella are in Area F; Suitcase& Bags are in Area F.

 

 

2nd Floor: Lock is in Area F; Tools is in Area F; Hardware is in Area F and G.

 

 

3rd Floor: Metal Kitchenware is in Area F; Household Electronics is in Area F; Telecommunications is in Area G; Watches & Clock are in Area G; Electronic Instruments is in Area G.

 

 

4th Floor: Regional product gallery is in Area F; Anhui Province product gallery is in Area F; Hong Kong product gallery is in Area F; Sichuan Province product gallery is in Area F; Korea product gallery is in Area F; Hardware is in Area F to G; Suitcase & Bags are in Area G; Electronics is in Area G; Watch & Clock are in Area G.

Yiwu Futian Market-District 3 (Area H)

 

 

District 3 (H) is 460,000 m2 (5,000,000 sq ft) and has over 6000 booths. It specialises in cultural products, sports products, cosmetics, eyeglasses, zippers, buttons and apparel accessories. District three also has a manufacturers’ outlet centre and it is combined by Area and have five floors:

 

 

1st Floor: All kinds of Pen, Ink, Paper products and Glasses.

 

 

2nd Floor: All kinds of Stationery, Office supplies, Sports and Leisure items.

 

 

3rd Floor: All kinds of Cosmetics & Cosmetic Accessory, Personal Beauty & Care, Mirrors and Combs, Button & Zipper and Garment Accessories.

It covers an area of 560,000 m2 (6,000,000 sq ft) with 1,739,000 m2 (18,720,000 sq ft) of floor space within the complex. The building provides room for 14,000 booths. This district specializes in daily necessities, knitted & cotton articles (including underwear, scarves, gloves, hats and cotton fabrics), footwear, belts, neckties, towels, wool items, lace items and other textile industries. District four have four floor:

2nd Floor: All kinds of Household items, Knitted and Cotton goods, Hats, Gloves, Earmuffs.

On 5th May 2011, District five was completed at a cost of 1.42 billion CNY. It covers an area of 640,000 m2 (6,900,000 sq ft), providing space for over 7000 booths and shops. This district specializes in imported commodities (including an African imports emporium), Bedding, Textiles, Knitting Materials, Auto Products and Assorted Accessories. District five have four floor:

 

 

1st Floor: All kinds of Imported Food, Health Care products, Imported Cloth, Imported Arts and Crafts, Africa Exhibition Center and other imported items.

 

 

2nd Floor: All kinds of Bedding, Wedding Supplies and Wigs.

 

 

3rd Floor: All kinds of Curtain, Knitted Raw Materials and Wedding Supplies.
